Joint Inter-Agency Meeting on Computer-Assisted Translation and Terminology

(JIAMCATT)

United Nations Geneva

JIAMCATT in a few words

Created in the 80's, the Joint Inter-Agency Meeting on Computer-Assisted Translation and Terminology fosters discussions and exchanges between members of languages services in international organizations and national or international institutions specialized in terminology and translation. Each year, some fifty such institutions meet to present the state of the art in mainly three areas:

- computer tools used by international organizations in translation and terminology

- terminology resources compiled by international organizations

- terminology and documentation sources of use to translators and terminologists in international organizations.

If you wish to become a JIAMCATT partner and have access to multilingual terminology files from other partners, a user name and password are required. Please ask for details from JIAMCATT Secretariat.

Access to the site restricted to JIAMCATT partners
