About JIAMCATT

Created in the 80's, the Joint Inter-Agency Meeting on Computer-Assisted Translation and Terminology fosters discussions and exchanges between members of linguistic services in international organizations and national or international institutions specializing in terminology and translation. Each year, over fifty such institutions meet to review the technology mainly in three areas:

  • Computer tools used by international organizations in translation and terminology;

  • Terminology resources compiled by international organizations;

  • Terminology and documentation sources useful to translators and terminologists in international organizations.
